Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. in Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Associate to support procurement operations, sourcing initiatives, and vendor management in an early-career role.

The position offers hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement analytics, vendor management, and contract administration, with opportunities for growth within the Procurement team. This on-site role reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, purchasing, finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related field.
• Internship or co-op in procurement or sourcing is a plus.
• Strong Excel data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vendor contract negotiations, renewals, and purchasing with stakeholders.
• Support sourcing initiatives and identify cost savings across vendor spend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess purchasing needs and consolidate spend.
• Analyze purchasing data to identify sourcing opportunities and trends.
• Submit requisitions in the purchasing system for business units.
• Administer vendor purchasing programs across the company.
• Partner with Purchasing Manager on sourcing projects and procurement initiatives.
• Gather feedback on vendor performance and resolve purchasing issues.
• Obtain vendor quotes and support pricing negotiations with guidance.
• Assist in resolving vendor issues related to contracts, SLAs, and pricing.
• Provide support on purchasing processes, policies, and contract submissions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
