Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a full-time Strategic Sourcing Associate to join our Procurement team. You will support sourcing initiatives, vendor management, and purchasing operations, collaborating with the Purchasing Manager and internal stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of experience in procurement or related fields, a Bachelor's in a related field, and internship experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement or related area.
• Internship or co-op experience welcomed.
• Interest in procurement, vendor management and strategic sourcing.
• Experience organizing or analyzing data in Excel is preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing principles or vendor management is a plus.
• Oracle Cloud experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vendor contract negotiations, renewals, and purchasing activities.
• Support sourcing initiatives and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess purchasing needs and consolidate spend.
• Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify opportunities and improvements.
• Submit requisitions in the Purchasing system for business units.
• Administer vendor programs and support procurement projects throughout the year.
• Resolve vendor issues related to contract obligations and pricing.
