Job summary

Sinclair, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Associate for the on-site role in Hunt Valley, MD. This early-career professional will support sourcing initiatives, vendor management, and purchasing operations under the Purchasing Manager.

The position emphasizes cost savings, analytics, and supplier collaboration to improve efficiencies. The ideal candidate has 0–2 years of experience in procurement or related fields, with internship/co-op exposure welcomed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain is acceptable.
• Internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Interest in procurement, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.
• Experience organizing or analyzing data in Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist vendor contract negotiations, renewals, and purchasing activities with stakeholders.
• Support sourcing initiatives and identify cost savings opportunities across spend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current and future purchasing needs and consolidate spend.
• Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify sourcing opportunities and process improvements.
• Submit requisitions in the Purchasing system as needed.
• Administer vendor purchasing programs and support sourcing projects with the Purchasing Manager.
• Gather feedback on vendor performance and help resolve purchasing issues.
• Obtain vendor quotes and support pricing and contract negotiations.
• Assist in resolving vendor issues related to contracts, service levels, quality, and pricing.
• Provide support on purchasing processes, policies, and best practices.
