Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks is seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic procurement initiatives across diverse categories in the United States. You will drive RFx events, build cost models, and deliver insights to optimize supplier performance and reduce costs.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and present analyses to leadership to secure approvals. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in supply chain or procurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of supply chain and procurement industry trends, processes, tools, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute and lead sourcing events across a wide range of categories, managing the full RFx process from scoping to final award decisions.
• Deliver analytical support on sourcing initiatives by synthesizing complex data sets, developing cost models, and providing actionable insights that guide strategic decisions.
• Drive category management activities including expiring contract reviews, pipeline development, opportunity assessments, supplier performance management, and compliance tracking.
• Provide project leadership and communication by overseeing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project trackers, and preparing documentation such as meeting minutes and status reports.
• Compile and refine scopes of work and requirements, conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms to optimize value and mitigate risk.
• Develop, present, and defend analysis—both quantitative and qualitative—to sourcing and business leadership to secure approvals for supplier selection and contract awards.
• Champion Strategic Sourcing’s value proposition by effectively communicating outcomes, influencing stakeholders, and reinforcing procurement’s role as a strategic business partner.
• Perform additional assignments as required, adapting quickly to evolving business priorities and opportunities.
