Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Analyst to lead tactical procurement for metal components. You will support the category manager in strategy development, drive cost productivity, and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Marketing.

The role requires 1–3 years in procurement, strong data presentation skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP. Domestic travel ~10% is expected as part of supplier relationships and NPD support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years procurement/sourcing experience in direct materials preferred.
• Ability to present data effectively with persuasive materials.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Support category manager in development and execution of sourcing strategies for metal components.
• Quotation preparation and negotiation activities.
• Product / Part Qualification.
• NPD support.
• Assist in the delivery of 3–5% YOY productivity (cost reduction) goals for metal components.
• Work cross-functional to meet business needs (Engineering, Quality, Marketing).
• Support supplier relationship management activities (QBRs, weekly meetings, productivity/innovation opportunities).
• Set up and maintain accurate costing information in SAP and administer SAP requirements.
• Coordinate with the supplier and planner to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
• Lead data integrity efforts (spend data gathering/verification, RFx analytics).
