Job summary

Eversource in Connecticut seeks a Senior Engineer, Strategic Solutions to shape how Transmission Interconnections work. You will apply engineering principles, systems thinking, and business analysis to improve processes, technology, data, and financial workflows.

The role leads complex initiatives from definition through implementation, partners with IT, vendors, and finance, and drives adoption while navigating change and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Minimum of five years of related engineering, process, systems, technology implementation, or analytics experience.
• Advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leads process improvement, business system, and strategic initiatives through analysis, requirements development, testing, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Investigates complex problems, identifies root causes, and develops practical solutions.
• Configures and supports monday.com, Jira, make.com, Power BI, SharePoint through workflows, dashboards, and data transformations.
• Improves billing, reconciliation, project cost, financial controls, and reporting processes in partnership with stakeholders.
• Owns milestones, risks, and deliverables; drives completion with limited direction.
• Monitors industry, regulatory, financial, process, and technology developments for opportunities.
