Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking a Strategic Solutions Architect to guide sales-driven technology decisions for defense, federal, and commercial solutions. You will partner with clients, business development, and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into implementable architectures and strategic roadmaps.

The role blends deep technical leadership with clear communication, enabling compelling proposals and differentiated offerings in hybrid cloud, edge, and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• U.S citizenship is a requirement.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years of experience designing IT solutions; experience within DoW or DHS environments preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and technical audiences
• Strong understanding of networking, compute, storage, and cybersecurity
• Expertise in machine learning, data science, software engineering, and cloud architecture
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures, identity, and secure access solutions
• Experience designing solutions across hybrid cloud, edge, and on-premises environments
• Familiarity with non-FAR based acquisition pathways, e.g. OTAs, Rapid Capabilities Offices, etc.
• Familiarity with resilient communications, SDN, SD-LAN, SD-WAN, SASE, and secure mobility
• Ability to create architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients to discover mission challenges, technology gaps, and outcomes.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities through client interaction and capability alignment.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders to inform solution strategy and pursuit planning.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor during early opportunity shaping.
• Translate customer needs into tailored architectures and roadmaps.
• Develop solution briefs, white papers, and conceptual designs.
• Collaborate to ensure solution feasibility, compliance, and differentiation.
• Create architecture diagrams and other artifacts for proposals.
• Support BD and Capture teams through technical strategy and competitive analysis.
• Lead capability demonstrations and technology evaluations for Atlas Tech strengths.
• Present solutions to executives and technical teams clearly.
