Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas is seeking a Buyer to secure materials for solar panel manufacturing, negotiate favorable terms, and manage supplier relationships. You will monitor market trends and collaborate with production, engineering, and QA to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

The role emphasizes cost optimization, supplier development, and compliance with renewable energy regulations, with occasional travel to vendor sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation skills to drive cost savings and favorable terms via vendor management.
• Excellent analytical abilities with data analysis tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of solar panel manufacturing processes, materials, and suppliers/vendors.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in renewable procurement.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines.
• SAP experience is a plus.
