Responsibilities

• Procures materials for solar panel manufacturing, focusing on indirect materials but supports other buyers.
• Researches and identifies potential suppliers, evaluates capabilities, and negotiates contracts.
• Monitors market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to anticipate changes.
• Collaborates with production, engineering, and quality teams to align procurement requirements.
• Develops and maintains strong supplier relationships to enable communication and improvement initiatives.
• Analyzes procurement data to optimize purchasing strategies and cost savings opportunities.
• Coordinates with logistics to manage inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies, emphasizing sustainability and ethics.
• Tracks monthly cost savings and supply shortages.
• Supervises supplier performance in lead-time, reactivity, reliability, and flexibility.
• Manages material cost budget, variance, obsolescence, and compliance issues.
• Collaborates with internal teams to develop capabilities in suppliers.
