Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Procures materials for solar panel manufacturing, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
• Researches potential suppliers, evaluates capabilities, and negotiates contracts for favorable pricing.
• Monitors market trends and supplier performance to anticipate supply chain shifts.
• Collaborates with production, engineering, and QA to align procurement with requirements.
• Maintains strong supplier relationships to enable effective communication and continuous improvement.
• Analyzes procurement data to optimize strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinates with logistics to manage inventory and minimize stockouts.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and sustainability/ethical sourcing practices.
• Tracks monthly cost savings and supply shortages.
• Oversees supplier performance in lead-time, reliability, and flexibility.
• Manages material cost budget, variance, obsolescence, and compliance issues.
