Responsibilities

• Procures materials for solar panel manufacturing with focus on indirect materials and services.
• Researches and identifies suppliers, evaluates capabilities, negotiates contracts and terms.
• Monitors market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments.
• Collaborates with production, engineering, and quality assurance to align requirements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers to drive improvements.
• Analyzes procurement data to optimize purchasing strategies and cost savings.
• Coordinates with logistics to manage inventory and reduce stockouts.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and environmental/ethical sourcing policies.
• Tracks monthly cost savings and supply shortages.
• Supervises supplier performance on lead-time, reactivity, reliability, and flexibility.
• Manages material cost budgets, variances, obsolescence, and cost-reduction processes.
• Collaborates with internal teams to develop supplier capabilities.
