Mutually Human in Grand Rapids seeks a Project Manager to guide software delivery across diverse industries. You will partner with software engineers, architects, and technical leads to drive projects from kickoff through closure and ensure value delivery for customers.

You’ll own timelines, manage Scrum processes, and escalate issues with clear communication. This role emphasizes coaching, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a small-company culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing software projects and understanding Scrum.
• Strong verbal and written communication to drive alignment.
• Experience in coaching teams and managing the full project lifecycle from kickoff to closure.
• Ability to balance scope, budget, and timeline while delivering value for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Software Delivery process for our teams and the customer to achieve the project and business goals.
• Increase visibility to the team and customer on all fronts: scope, budget, and timeline.
• Timesheet audits, approvals, and ownership of invoicing to ensure accuracy.
• Function as the main point of contact for our customers and the main point of escalation for our internal teams.
• Manage the Scrum process to remove obstacles and ensure Agile engagements.
• Schedule important project events and keep customers updated on progress.
• Develop and own the timeline for each assigned project.
• Identify deviations in delivery schedule and plan issue resolutions.
• Assess risks and address them with the team and customer as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to drive efficiencies.
• Contribute to our culture through coaching and open communication.
