Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Procurement Buyer in the Infrastructure Procurement department to support professional procurement for service segments, repair & maintenance, and equipment purchasing. You will source, negotiate pricing and terms, manage vendor relations, and drive cost efficiencies for internal customers.

The role emphasizes project-based procurement, data analysis, and adherence to Samsung procurement policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• CPM/CPSM/CPIM certification a plus.
• Self-motivated with initiative, flexibility, customer service and attention to detail.
• Skills in negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements.
• Knowledge of costing and pricing methodologies.
• Proficient with MS Excel and strong communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and sense of ownership.

Responsabilités

• Sourcing, negotiate pricing/terms, facilitate procurement workflow, vendor selection/management, contract revisions/renewals, and regular reporting to management.
• Manage and drive the procurement processes using Samsung systems.
• Work with internal customers and drive cost efficiencies.
• Analyze and interpret financial data, solve problems, and make procedural decisions.
• Assess value and reliability relative to cost; plan, organize, and coordinate acquisition alternatives.
• Follow procurement rules and regulations and enforce procedures that support Samsung processes.
