Job summary

Vertiv in Ohio seeks a skilled Supply Planner to develop and maintain the supply plan within the SIOP process for the Power Management business. You will balance demand, supply, and inventory while coordinating with factories, buyers, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning monthly SIOP cycles, capacity management, and on-time delivery metrics. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in supply planning, SIOP/IBP, or production planning in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, SIOP principles, and planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the supply plan within the SIOP process balancing demand, supply, and inventory.
• Translate demand plans into production and material requirements with factories, buyers, and suppliers.
• Lead supply reviews to highlight risks and mitigation plans; communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory health including safety stock, excess, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement to address capacity or material constraints.
• Participate in monthly SIOP cycles providing data and insights for supply and reconciliation meetings.
• Align supply planning assumptions with budget and forecast cycles with finance and operations.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and system parameters.
• Support new product introductions and transitions into the supply plan.
• Track and report key supply metrics like on-time delivery and inventory performance.
