Tag Systems USA is seeking an experienced Shipping Courier Coordinator to manage daily shipping and courier coordination at our secure card manufacturing and personalization facility in Eatontown, NJ. The role involves coordinating shipments, negotiating carrier rates, and ensuring orders are delivered accurately, securely, and on time.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in shipping or logistics, including carrier negotiations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in shipping, logistics, or courier coordination, including negotiating shipping rates and terms.
• Experience working directly with parcel carriers, couriers, and freight providers.
• Familiarity with shipping platforms, tracking systems, and shipping documentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and accurate data entry.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing, secure fulfillment, or a controlled-access environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily shipments and courier pickups based on production schedules, customer requirements, and carrier cutoff times.
• Negotiate shipping rates, service terms, and pickup arrangements with carriers and courier providers.
• Compare carrier pricing, transit times, and service performance to identify reliable, cost-effective shipping options.
• Maintain relationships with approved carriers and courier providers and address service concerns.
• Prepare and verify shipping labels, packing slips, manifests, and other required documentation.
• Ensure shipments are packaged, sealed, and labeled according to company procedures and customer specifications.
• Track shipments, obtain proof of delivery, and resolve delays, missed pickups, lost packages, and delivery discrepancies.
• Review shipping invoices for accuracy and work with carriers and Finance to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, and other departments to communicate shipping priorities and order status.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, tracking information, and carrier rate details.
• Follow security procedures for sensitive materials, including verifying authorized pickups and maintaining chain-of-custody records.
• Monitor shipping supplies and assist with incoming deliveries, returns, and shipment reconciliations as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, reduce costs, and strengthen delivery performance.
