Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead procurement and supply chain for shipbuilding programs. You will set strategy, build a high-performing team, and drive supplier performance across domestic and international operations.

You will oversee sourcing, contracts, and logistics, ensuring compliant, cost-effective materials and services for production operations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is required.
• 10+ years in procurement or supply chain with leadership experience.
• Experience in defense and shipbuilding is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy for shipbuilding materials and services.
• Develop supply chain processes, controls, and organization structure.
• Manage global supplier relationships and performance metrics.
• Direct complex contract negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, IMDG, and export/import regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with cost objectives.
• Oversee risk management and continuity planning across international suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement policies and tools.
