Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency recruiting an experienced SEO Manager, Senior Living, to own search for a portfolio of senior living clients. You will define the technical roadmap, establish content priorities, and craft the ranking story for client inquiries. You will be the strategic voice at the table.

You will lead technical SEO, align content with writers and AI, and manage multi-location/local SEO, with GA4 and Search Console reporting to guide quarterly roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience managing multiple clients.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for multi-location or senior living is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
