Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a project management capacity.
• Bachelor-level degree required in engineering, architecture or related area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, develop and maintain budgets and timelines for each project phase.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews for clients and management.
• Oversee consultants and construction teams, coordinating with related building operations and brokerage elements as needed.
• Review requisitions, change orders and other invoices; advise the management team.
• Participate in marketing and presentation of services to clients.
• Potentially supervise Project Managers, Space Planners, and CAD Operators.
• Provide required documentation and reports to the client and management team.
• Coordinate with other building/facility personnel to meet quality, service, cost, and profit goals.
• Report major issues and recommendations to senior management.
• Obtain approvals for organizational changes and expenditures within budget.
• May set goals/objectives for supervised units and hire/subordinate staff as needed.
• Train, develop, motivate, and appraise subordinates as required to meet goals.
• Ensure compliance with government laws and regulations.
