Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Sr. Associate (Buyer) to support the Procurement and Sourcing Team in database development, document administration, and client reporting.

The role spans vendor documentation tracking, pricing reviews, and ensuring on-time, compliant material deliveries. You will act as a primary contact for escalations and present findings to management, while upholding CBRE standards and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience.
• Broad understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts in procurement.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to various stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tracking and organization of vendor documents.
• Review supplier pricing and specs to align with corporate guidelines; complete acquisition paperwork.
• Verify delivered materials meet standards and arrive on time.
• Serve as point of contact for internal customer escalations and troubleshooting.
• Present research findings to management for review.
• Resolve complex problems and identify approaches to meet team objectives.
• May establish new techniques to help the team meet objectives.
• Lead by example and help build consensus across teams.
