Job summary

Landis+Gyr AG in Alpharetta is seeking a Senior Director of Information Security to lead the enterprise security program across IT, OT, product, and customer-facing domains. The role reports to the CIO and partners with senior leadership to drive a unified security strategy and policy framework.

You will own security operations, governance, and cross-stream alignment to protect cloud, manufacturing, and SaaS environments while shaping the security culture and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Senior security leadership experience (8+ years) spanning enterprise IT and OT / product / SaaS security.
• Experience leading in a matrixed environment with influence over teams without direct reporting lines.
• Strong governance, risk, and compliance expertise, including external audits across cloud, manufacturing, and SaaS contexts.
• Hands-on understanding of SOC operations, incident response, threat management, secure SDLC, PKI, and identity.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Serve as liaison between executive leadership and security operations; translate risk into business terms.
• Establish and maintain enterprise-wide security policies, standards, and risk framework.
• Ensure cross-functional security teams align across IT and OT; close coverage gaps.
• Own security operations: SOC, incident response, red team, threat management; ensure consistent response.
• Own customer security incident management and SaaS security as global functions.
• Oversee security governance across cloud, manufacturing, and SaaS environments.
• Set standards and interfaces between IT, Product, OT, and customer-facing functions.
• Drive a coherent security operating model and maturity measurement across streams.
