Job summary

Everest Reinsurance Company is seeking a Senior Cyber/Errors and Omission Facultative Underwriter to join our NYC or Warren NJ office. This role focuses on Cyber and E&O business with some D&O, underwriting renewal and new business while maintaining broker relationships.

Strong candidates will have 5+ years in Professional Liability underwriting, a BA/BS degree, and excellent communication skills. Regular travel may be required in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of Professional Liability underwriting experience with industry contacts.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and drive business with focus on Cyber and E&O (A&E, Misc., Lawyers, Agents/Brokers, Real Estate/Title) with some D&O.
• Analyze new business for risk profitability based on underwriting, claims and financial data.
• Underwrite renewal business according to current underwriting approach and philosophy in a service-oriented environment.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with ceding company underwriters and reinsurance intermediaries.
