Job summary

Everest Reinsurance Company is seeking a Senior Cyber/Errors and Omissions Facultative Underwriter to join our NYC or Warren NJ office. The role focuses on Cyber and E&O business, with some D&O exposure, and involves underwriting, relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have a BA/BS with at least 5 years of professional liability underwriting experience and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree; advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of Professional Liability underwriting experience.
• Experience with cyber/E&O lines and facultative underwriting.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and drive Cyber and E&O business (A&E, Misc., Lawyers, Agents/Brokers, Real Estate/Title).
• Analyze new business for risk profitability using underwriting, claims, and financial data.
• Underwrite renewal business per current underwriting approach and philosophy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with ceding company underwriters and intermediaries.
• Assist in production and marketing coordination.
• Collaborate with claims and accounting to support objectives.
• Assess competitive factors in the marketplace for the underwriting portfolio.
• Travel as required.
