Qualifications

  • Ten+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting National Security Space, SAP, SCI, or complex DoD/Intelligence Community security programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, SAP requirements, ICD 705, JSIG, RMF, and related government security policy.
  • Proven success building trusted relationships with government security leaders, senior program leadership, and multidisciplinary organizations.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and lead complex, cross-organizational initiatives through collaboration, strategic thinking, and credibility.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, strategic planning, project management, and organizational leadership skills.
  • Sound judgment and ability to navigate complex organizations and competing priorities.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as APL's principal security relationship manager for National Security Space across senior government and mission leaders.
  • Represent SECD in executive engagements, sponsor meetings, program reviews, and strategic planning activities.
  • Translate sponsor priorities into coordinated action plans by aligning stakeholders and resources and driving initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Coordinate capabilities across SECD (SAP, SCI, physical, industrial security, TEMPEST, Security Operations, Counterintelligence) and ITSD to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Lead complex initiatives across security disciplines, government stakeholders, and Mission Areas, balancing mission enablement with security requirements.
  • Develop coordinated strategies, anticipate emerging trends, and strengthen sponsor confidence in APL's security posture.
  • Brief executives on strategic initiatives, risks, customer engagement, and opportunities; measure and report on enterprise performance.
