Job summary

Rebuy is seeking a senior, hands-on leader to own security, compliance, privacy, and IT across the company. Reporting to the COO, you'll guide programs, secure cloud infrastructure and applications, and shape data governance while enabling a productive remote team.

This is an individual contributor leadership role focused on setting direction and driving security initiatives in collaboration with DevOps and Engineering across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security and GRC with end-to-end SOC 2 Type 2 ownership.
• Hands-on security for major cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, risk and compliance programs and audits.
• Own data governance, privacy documentation, and vendor risk reviews.
• Oversee incident response, vulnerability management, and CI/CD security.
