Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an experienced Support Equipment Engineering Program Manager to lead SE and tooling projects for Edison Works' next-generation military programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage complex schedules and contract deliverables, and ensure timely development, fielding and sustainment of propulsion system support equipment.

A U.S. Government clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of aircraft turbine engine maintenance experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of specific experience with aircraft turbine engine maintenance.
  • Experience performing project or program management functions.
  • Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with SE engineers on requirements, design and engineering of SE and tooling.
  • Tracks, manages and coordinates SE to support development engine assembly and production activities.
  • Leads/coordinates SE tryout activities with Development Assembly Engineers to verify form, fit and function.
  • Interprets customer requirements and leads qualification and delivery of SE and tooling.
  • Leads and supports authoring of SE Program Plans and SE requirements documents.
  • Supports development and management of IMS and budgets aligning to DoD EVM requirements.
  • Prepares monthly program status reports on scope, expenditures and critical paths.
  • Manages contractual deliverables and reports status to stakeholders.
