Job summary

ProWood, a division of UFP Industries, is the leading manufacturer of pressure-treated lumber and a premier building materials distributor. As an SDR, you will identify and pursue new sales opportunities, grow special order sales, educate customers on products, and maintain positive relationships under the supervision of a ProWood Regional Sales Manager.

You will promote, educate, and showcase products, generating new sales and supporting Pro Desk events, with a focus on growing the customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in customer service.
• Experience utilizing basic sales techniques and identifying sales leads.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates new sales through stores Special Orders program and Contract sales.
• Educates customer on products and solutions and maintains positive relationships with the current customer base.
• Generates new sales by introducing and promoting new products and services.
• Drives Special Order Sales at the Pro Desk and supports events and yard service.
• Visits customers as scheduled and assists addressing customer concerns and problems.
• Seeks prospective new accounts to increase sales volume.
