Job summary

SA Recycling in the United States is seeking an experienced Commercial Scrap Metal Buyer to grow our Georgia Region and support North Atlanta, Gwinnett, Cartersville, and Gainesville locations. You will manage a book of business comprising Commercial, Industrial and Dealer accounts for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals.

You will leverage your negotiation and relationship-building skills to expand market share, negotiate pricing and service agreements, and ensure compliant purchasing while driving

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred, related to Sales, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar field.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills required.
• Experience in scrap metals recycling industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchase ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals to grow margins and market share.
• Develop and secure new commercial, industrial, and dealer accounts.
• Buy according to market conditions and pricing models set by management.
• Maintain relationships through regular supplier visits and market monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
