Responsibilities

• Establishes performance metrics for measurement of supply chain factors.
• Develops and maintains inventories across company sites to optimize production.
• Maintains required quantity of materials to support production.
• Analyzes inventories and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability.
• Develops policies to increase efficiency while ensuring quality and safety.
• Identifies optimal shipment routes with warehousing considerations.
• Assesses material-handling equipment and staffing needs for efficient movement.
• Negotiates prices with suppliers and delivery services.
• Advises product development on availability and cost of supplies.
• Coordinates engineering changes and new product launches for smooth material flow.
• Monitors supplier performance and qualifies new suppliers.
• Collaborates with functional teams to execute supply chain activities.
