Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Scientific Program Analyst in Rockville, MD to support extramural research operations for NINDS. You will develop content, SOPs, and training materials; coordinate meetings; and prepare leadership-ready presentations and reports.

Strong writing, organizational, and MS Office skills are essential. The role involves maintaining websites and collaboration with the Office of Communications to advance outreach and education strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Experience supporting scientific research programs or extramural operations.
• Strong scientific and technical writing skills.
• Experience developing SOPs, guidance documents, or training materials.
• Knowledge of NIH grants and extramural research processes.
• Experience maintaining website content and online resources.
• Experience preparing presentations and reports for leadership audiences.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain website content, Teams channels, and information databases for extramural operations.
• Coordinate with extramural colleagues to plan meetings and training sessions and track key issues and updates.
• Prepare SOPs, guidance documents, and training materials for research operations.
• Review workflows to identify issues and propose improvements across systems.
• Condense material from various sources for presentations and reports for leadership.
• Support ongoing projects and develop new initiatives, including outreach and education strategies.
• Prepare and deliver formal presentations for division leadership and stakeholders.
• Provide progress reports to sponsors and track deliverables and deadlines.
• Maintain a repository of resources (PowerPoint decks, meeting notes, reports, spreadsheets, webpages).
• Collaborate with Communications to achieve outreach and communications goals.
