Job summary

Carroll County Schools is seeking a Principal to develop, implement, and evaluate the total school program at an assigned school site. The role focuses on improving student achievement, engaging teachers in curriculum planning, and using data to refine instruction.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and evaluate the total school program.
Engage teachers in cooperative planning for curriculum implementation.
Monitor and evaluate a standards-based curriculum.
Engage teachers in the use of assessment data to design and adjust instruction to maximize student learning and achievement.
Lead job-embedded professional learning aligned with school improvement goals.
Lead teachers to accept collective responsibility for school improvement and the learning and achievement of all students.
