• Conceptualizes the mission of the district and broad goals of the school to implement the total school program
• Ensures the school program aligns with legal, financial and organizational structures
• Defines staff responsibilities and communicates the school program to the community
• Provides activities that support staff professional growth and instructional quality
• Sets annual objectives for instructional, extracurricular and athletic programs
• Ensures the School Improvement Plan is followed and reviewed
• Develops curricular objectives with staff and includes input from faculty
• Manages daily routines and maintains records for school operation
• Evaluates student progress using state-approved methods
• Supervises and evaluates staff performance
• Maintains communication with Central Office and the community
• Manages school budgets and resources
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
