Job summary

The Controller at St. Anne’s-Belfield School leads day-to-day accounting operations, ensures GAAP-compliant reporting, and partners with the COFO on budgeting, cash management, and endowment oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and financial analysis experience with supervisory/management experience.
• Non-profit experience is a bonus.
• CPA license is highly desirable.
• Advanced spreadsheet-based financial modeling and data analysis skills; knowledge of non-profit accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Partner with COFO on budgeting, variance alerts, forecasting for projects and capital expenditures.
• Manage the annual financial audit and IRS Forms 990/990T filings.
