The New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) system seeks a School Budget Systems Financial Analyst to lead financial operations and analysis for the Division of School Budget Planning and Operations. Under the Deputy Director, you will drive requirements, design, reporting, and budgeting processes, modernizing enterprise systems and supporting executive decision-making.

Formación

Master's degree in computer science with at least 3 years of related experience in IT, budgeting or finance.
Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills.
Experience with budgeting systems, financial reporting and data governance is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

Leads requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis and system design reviews for financial, budgeting and reporting systems.
Collaborates with developers and analysts to implement system enhancements and automated workflows.
Develops documentation, use cases, data dictionaries, and training materials.
Oversees development of enterprise reporting and BI tools to support strategic decision making.
Manages testing, deployment and production support for major financial system events.
