Job summary

CFS is seeking a Budget Analyst in New York to own budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis that directly informs leadership decisions. You will engage in monthly variance analysis, budget consolidation, and cash flow projections while supporting audits and grant reviews.

You’ll gain exposure to senior leadership and broaden experience across ERP systems, including Dynamics 365, with a track record of delivering actionable insights and reliable financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of budgeting, financial analysis, or similar experience.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
• Experience with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly budget-to-actual variance reports.
• Monitor organizational spending and support budget adherence.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and budget consolidation.
• Review general ledger expenses, reconciliations, and allocations.
• Support cash flow projections, audits, compliance activities, and grant reviews.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
