Job summary

NYU seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Budget Office with university-wide forecasting, budgets, and financial plans. You will develop and maintain budget models, perform performance evaluations, and mentor junior staff.

Strong Excel, BI, and data visualization skills are essential to turn complex data into actionable insights. Lead large forecast modeling, tuition and endowment projections, and analyze financial metrics to inform strategic decisions across schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with accounting and policy implementation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare university-wide forecasting, budgets, and financial plans.
• Develop and maintain budget models and planning systems.
• Lead large forecast modeling assignments (tuition, endowment, metrics).
• Mentor junior team members and operate in a matrix organization.
