Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an Analyst - Production to create and manage production schedules, using SAP and MRP concepts in a Houston facility. The role supports deadlines, capacity planning, and financial reporting across projects in a manufacturing environment.

Candidate will coordinate with shop supervision, manage capacity, and drive production efficiency, with emphasis on SAP-based baseline creation and budget loading. Office and shop floor duties in a heavy industry setting apply.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience with SAP.
• Prior experience with MS Project/Primavera preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Functional knowledge of scheduling concepts and MRP.
• Proficient in MS.
• Ability to effectively present and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Create project baseline and load budgets in SAP.
• Review project dates/durations based on lead times and due dates.
• Dispatch network activities based on capacity and material availability.
• Evaluate dispatched activity progress with shop supervisors.
• Adjust production schedule due to change orders, rework, design change, capacity/material shortages; generate project baseline as needed.
• Generate capacity charts for existing and high probability projects; review and recommend actions for capacity spikes.
• Create project financial reports and host financial review meetings; adjust financial report baseline due to change order.
• Host weekly production meetings as needed.
• Review MRP for production order items; recommend in-house fabrication VS outsource based on capacity availability.
