Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Significant State & Local Tax experience in a multi-state organization.
• Strong background in tax research, compliance, planning, and audit management.

• Prior public accounting experience at a national or Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead all state and local tax compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct technical tax research and provide guidance on SALT matters.
• Manage audits, notices, registrations, nexus studies, and interactions with authorities.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities, incentives, and process improvements.
• Evaluate tax implications of new business initiatives and geographic expansion plans.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations and leadership on strategic matters.
• Review filings for accuracy and compliance, internally and externally prepared.
• Develop scalable tax processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
• Drive automation and technology enhancements for efficiency.
