Job summary

ESCO Electric in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Safety & Operations Coordinator to support safe and efficient project execution by coordinating workforce, safety programs, logistics, and documentation. This role serves as a central point between plant personnel, project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and labor representatives.

The coordinator will work closely with safety management and division managers to ensure compliance and smooth operations, without direct supervision of craft

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, utility, or maintenance environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety programs and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety orientations for new employees.
• Facilitate required safety training and refresher programs.
• Maintain employee training records and certifications.
• Conduct safety observations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation of safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with incident documentation and corrective action tracking.
• Participate in safety meetings and project planning sessions.
• Coordinate drug testing, fit testing, and other compliance requirements.
