Job summary

HumCap, a growing software company, seeks a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to partner with executive leadership and guide the next growth phase. The role oversees financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and overall financial strategy, reporting to the CEO and board.

The ideal candidate brings senior finance leadership, experience with SaaS metrics, and a track record of building scalable financial processes in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Progressive leadership experience in finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Experience supporting a software, SaaS, technology, or recurring revenue business model.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to partner with executive leadership on business strategy and operational decision-making.
• Experience presenting financial insights to senior leadership.
• Thrives in a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
• Partner with CEO and leadership to evaluate performance and support strategic decisions.
• Develop and monitor SaaS and operational metrics including recurring revenue and profitability.
• Create financial models and business cases for investments and growth.
• Prepare executive, board, and investor reporting packages.
• Improve financial reporting, analytics, systems, and processes to support growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Customer Success.
• Oversee cash flow planning, controls, and risk management.
• Support strategic initiatives, partnerships, and corporate development.
• Provide leadership and mentorship across finance and accounting.
