Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging is seeking a senior Supply Planning leader to drive end-to-end planning for North America. You will align demand, inventory targets, and capacity with business goals, manage risk, and lead S&OP cycles across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams.

The role requires 8-12+ years in supply planning, strong ERP/IBP knowledge, and leadership experience. Chicago-based position with travel up to 15% and a focus on cost, service, and inventory balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8-12+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management
• Proven experience in S&OP / IBP processes
• Strong understanding of ERP and planning systems (SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, OMP, Oracle)
• Experience managing complex, multi-site or global supply chains
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite and SAP skills
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with large data sets
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets
• Develop mid- to long-term capacity and supply strategies
• Translate demand plans into feasible supply plans and lead S&OP cycles
• Provide scenario modeling addressing supply-demand imbalances
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Commercial teams
• Establish inventory policies and replenishment strategies to reduce excess and obsolescence
• Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans
• Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes
• Support digital transformation, e.g., SAP IBP implementation in North America
• Evaluate and improve current planning processes to increase efficiency
