Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging North America is seeking an experienced procurement and category management professional to drive regional category strategy, supplier engagement, and cost optimization. The role partners with regional operations and procurement teams to deliver value across P2P processes and contract management.

You will lead regional initiatives, manage supplier performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet sustainability and financial KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, category management and/or supply chain.
• Proven ideation and delivery of procurement initiatives addressing technical, financial and sustainability aspects.
• Track record of delivering value from strategic frameworks with partners.
• Strong leadership with matrix management experience.
• Experience managing a geographically dispersed team.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Own regional implementation of key strategic category initiatives.
• Drive development of category benchmarks and continuous improvement.
• Lead regional category strategy to deliver cost, cash and sustainability KPIs.
• Act as subject matter expert for regional regulatory/sustainability framework.
• Lead RFX, negotiations, and tenders for regional category aspects.
• Own contract management from negotiation to performance monitoring.
• Support P2P processes and regional supplier relationships.
• Lead quarterly SRM reviews and benchmarking.
• Monitor and challenge suppliers on TCO opportunities and value delivery.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and Storeroom teams.
