Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging in Illinois seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis professional to support daily FP&A activities, including reporting, analysis and forecasting, plus assistance with annual budgeting and multi-year strategic planning.

The role interfaces with multiple functions, offering visibility to senior leaders and a path to contribute to monthly close and special projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 3–6 years of relevant financial experience, preferably FP&A.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Self-starter with energy and initiative.
• Detail oriented with analytical experience.
• Collaborative style with written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong results orientation with good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FP&A manager and team with periodic monthly, quarterly reporting and analysis work.
• Develop reports and bridges to compare actual results to forecast, budget and last year and related commentary.
• Assist in process improvement and financial model development in FP&A, including P&L and balance sheet.
• Lead SG&A reporting and analysis, providing monthly insights on performance vs budget/forecast.
• Support annual plan development and improve forecast accuracy with cost center owners.
• Assist in ad-hoc analysis and presentation of business results for CFO and senior management.
• Assist in the annual budget cycle with reporting/analysis and process improvements.
• Support month-end close process.
• Handle other special projects as assigned.
