Nasdaq, Inc. in New York seeks a strategic leader to head Risk Strategy & Transformation. This individual contributor role partners with the CRO to shape Nasdaq's risk posture and drive modernization through AI, automation, and analytics.

The position requires deep risk-management expertise, high influence without direct reports, and a proven track record delivering cross-functional transformation across enterprise, technology, and business risk domains. Hybrid work offered.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of risk management experience in financial services, capital markets, fintech, or exchange infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in risk management frameworks, governance, and risk governance.
• Ability to influence without direct reports and deliver outcomes across organizational boundaries.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-suite, regulators, and cross-functional leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA/MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, articulate, and drive Nasdaq's enterprise-wide risk strategy in partnership with the CRO and senior risk leaders.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities from technology, markets, and regulation; translate into strategic priorities.
• Act as strategic advisor on risk operating model evolution and multi-year transformation roadmap.
• Design and champion new risk processes and tools leveraging AI/ML and RegTech.
• Partner with enterprise risk, financial risk, technology risk, and business risk leads to ensure alignment and adoption across the function.
