Job summary

Unison Risk Advisors seeks a Vice President, Risk & Portfolio Analytics to advance analytics across the Avoca Risk platform from our Manchester, MA office. The role targets professionals with 3–5 years in insurance analytics and leadership potential.

You will work with underwriting, technology, finance, actuarial, and risk stakeholders to drive portfolio reporting, pricing insights, and catastrophe risk understanding while growing as a leader and mentor to junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience within insurance risk analytics or portfolio analytics.
• Progress toward ACAS, FCAS, or an equivalent analytical credential is preferred.
• Working knowledge of ISO pricing methodologies and commercial property and casualty rating structures.

Responsibilities

• Support analytics by producing portfolio reporting, performance analysis, and actionable insight into underwriting trends.
• Translate complex data into decision support for senior leadership through reports and data visualizations.
• Contribute to BI and reporting capabilities, including dashboards and automated reporting tools.
• Provide regular management reporting on portfolio KPIs across underwriting.
• Assist with actuarial and exposure management activities, including rate methodology reviews.
• Produce ad hoc portfolio and carrier analytics to support planning.
• Perform actuarial and portfolio analysis and coordinate with external actuarial partners.
• Support catastrophe risk modeling workflows for property lines and report exposure accumulations.
