REVAU is seeking a Risk Management Manager to lead risk and claims support activities, guide a team, and help manage the risk profile of insureds. The role combines hands-on analysis with leadership, using sound judgment to make significant risk decisions within delegated authority.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, agents, insureds, and carriers to evaluate concerns and improve risk-management practices, while directing priorities and training for the Risk/Claims Support team.

Competenze

• Experience in commercial insurance, transportation, risk management, claims, underwriting, or a related field.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
• A high school diploma or GED; education and experience in insurance, business, risk management, or a related field is required.
• Strong judgment, communication, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and handle confidential information with care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn insurance, policy-administration, underwriting, claims, reporting, and carrier systems.

Mansioni

• Monitor insured risk performance, operational changes, claims activity, and loss trends throughout the policy term.
• Evaluate changes in exposure, adverse patterns, guideline concerns, and unresolved corrective actions; determine and implement an appropriate response within delegated authority.
• Prepare and interpret risk summaries and reports that support underwriting and risk-management decisions.
• Partner with Underwriting, Claims, agents, insureds, carriers, and service partners to address concerns and communicate required corrective actions.
• Make decisions involving noncompliance, corrective action, and policy cancellation within delegated authority.
• Direct the priorities, assignments, and daily work of designated Risk/Claims Support team members; provide training, quality review, and performance feedback.
• Provide leadership with input on team performance and staffing needs.
• Identify trends across the book of business and implement or recommend risk-mitigation strategies and process improvements.
