You will work with the VP of Risk & Compliance and senior leaders to shape risk priorities and coordinate coverage with brokers and carriers.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in risk, compliance, healthcare, law, insurance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, risk management, compliance, insurance or claims management or related area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP of Risk & Compliance and management to set risk program priorities.
• Manage the specialty area of risk insurance/business insurance with partners, brokers and carriers.
• Coordinate insurance coverage needs to limit exposure and costs and support risk programs.
• Oversee workers’ compensation risk management and settlements with counsel guidance.
• Complete business insurance applications annually with broker coordination.
• Analyze loss runs, trends and opportunities to improve risk management performance.
• Oversee risk assessments of all programs and ensure regulatory and industry compliance.
• Provide stewardship to staff, clients and employees affected by risk activities.
