Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee the client’s comprehensive insurance and risk management program, ensuring protection of reputation, safety, and financial success. You will act as strategic consultant to US offices and lead loss mitigation initiatives with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent practical insurance claim management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own, drive, and manage client’s risk program.
• Serve as the key consultant to internal partners, acting as strategic consultant to all U.S. offices.
• Review and analyze loss management programs to reduce costs and losses.
• Partner with brokerage services to assess risk finance opportunities and improve total cost of risk.
• Establish reporting protocols and policies for risk mitigation, conduct risk assessments.
• Review and implement improvements to risk management policies and protocols.
• Analyze metrics such as cash flow, inventory, and activity to uncover fraud.
• Draft and present risk reports to executive leadership.
• Recommend risk management solutions including insurance and business continuity plans.
• Oversee loss prevention programs and liaise with attorneys and insurers.
• Review insurance provisions in contracts and respond to COIs and inquiries.
• Coordinate insurance administration and budget summaries with internal departments.
• Manage claims and loss control activities and represent client to insurers.
