Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup, seeks a Risk & Compliance Lead to build a centralized risk function. You will map liability across entities, optimize nuclear-related insurance programs, and implement governance with stakeholders across the organization.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will scale the program as Radiant expands into government and commercial deployments, ensuring proactive risk management and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or related compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, or a related field.
• Experience designing and procuring multi-line insurance programs.
• Familiarity with NRC requirements or highly regulated licensing environments is a plus.
• Experience structuring liability and risk isolation across multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain liability mapping across Radiant's entities, units, and deployment channels.
• Design and manage end-to-end insurance programs including Nuclear, Property, GL, Auto, Workers' Comp, D&O.
• Develop risk governance, KPIs, and reporting for leadership, board, and lenders.
• Serve as the main liaison between brokers, carriers, legal, operations, IT, security, finance, and regulatory teams.
