Job summary

Thayer Power & Communication Line Construction Co., LLC (TPC) seeks a Right-of-Way Agent to research, coordinate, and manage ROW and utility activities for telecommunications and power projects. You will work with property owners, municipalities, utilities, and project teams to obtain easements and approvals, review deeds, plats, and maps, and track status to avoid delays.

Requirements include a STEM degree (associate or bachelor), 5+ years in engineering, power, or construction, and strong MS

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering, power, or construction industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong document control and organizational skills.
• Experience researching rights-of-way and property ownership is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research property ownership and right-of-way limits.
• Coordinate easement acquisitions and rights agreements.
• Review plats, deeds, and engineering plans.
• Interface with property owners, utilities, and agencies.
• Maintain project records and update management.
• Track status of ROW requests and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Support with issue resolution to prevent construction delays.
