Job summary

The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Services at Wexner Medical Center is responsible for strategic planning, leadership, and continuous quality and process improvement of Patient Financial Services operations including physician and hospital billing, collections, and cash applications.

This role partners with OSUP and OSUWMC leadership to deliver a seamless patient experience, drive financial performance, regulatory compliance, and economies of scale across revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 12+ years of progressive revenue cycle leadership experience in a large, complex healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations, regulatory requirements, and billing practices.
• Experience overseeing a large patient financial services operation.
• Strong understanding of clinical operations and their impact on revenue cycle performance.
• EPIC revenue cycle experience strongly preferred.
• HFMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Revenue Cycle Services.
• Oversee physician and hospital billing, collections, cash applications, and single billing office.
• Ensure compliant, efficient, and high-performing revenue cycle operations.
• Partner with OSUP and OSUWMC leadership to deliver a seamless patient experience and aligned financial objectives.
